How well do you pay attention to your clients needs during a session? Do you just grab the towels, sheets and oil to start your session? or do you make it a point of duty to make the atmosphere peaceful?

“Well I make it a point of duty to ensure that my sessions comes with not only a clean atmosphere but also peaceful and serene atmosphere. You don’t wanna be giving your client a session and his/her mind is wandering about. Only way to ensure your client is relaxed and attention drawn to the massage is by ensuring your atmosphere is conducive enough.”

  1. Scented Candles: has been discovered to play a major role during massage sessions. As its scent fills the air allowing your client to breathe in not just a pleasant smell but also freshly scented air.
  2. Sound Systems: Also play a very good role during a session. After your client is all settled in feeling relaxed by the pleasant smell the scented candles provide there comes the nature sound from the system to infact make them feel more relaxed. Now this could be tricky because I’ve sometimes had clients who prefer to listen to songs by hip hop artiste e.g Halo by Beyoncé, speechless by Michael Jackson, crying in the club by camila cabello e.t.c Not to worry about that different people with different choices doesn’t mean your playlist is bad.
  3. Sheets and Towel: needs to be soft, extremely soft because clients need to feel comfortable when laying in ’em ( you don’t wanna have a client complaining about how hard and uncomfortable your sheets and towels feels while your session is ongoing) Also remember most clients (females especially) have sensitive skin.
  4. Peace and Tranquility: I take this seriously as I feel this is very important. I always have it in mind that my clients come to me for massage because they are stressed, tensed, exhausted and need to relax. So how do I contribute to helping them relax? Say for example my client is a working class individual in a corporate firm for example what that means is he/she would probably be in the midst of crowds and sometimes in a not so quiet place all the time thereby making it so tensed and exhausting for them. So I want to be sure that they are comfortable enough during my session so that’s why I always take it seriously to ensure that my sessions are done only in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
